long ago FRIDAY 34

THIS IS WHAT I DID ON FRIDAY...
WORK
WORK
AND WORK
i must admit though, my job is enjoyable. i like being with so many students and still being campus. resident appreciation day was a day for the students who lived off-campus to be appreciated and for them to know that we as a department, were thinking about them.
P our poster, eh?
well, i can't say too much about Friday, other than that it was long and kind of weird, well the weather was. on friday i realized that i love Hawaii but i am ready for a new adventure. people always say things like "Idaho, OMG why? why when you live here in paradise" or "Idaho? for his major? what is it? really...agriculture? ok..."

I remember the peace that came when we made our decision to move and I proudly say, "Bring it Idaho!"

outside 35

i did not forget!
i just got super duper busy. especially on Thursday. i was swamped with work and last minute I had a call in for a dentist appointment.
i know...not a good enough excuse
but it's true
anyway, on this day i went to kahuku and on my way back i was this.
>open road
>gunstock stretch
>cackle fresh (fresh egg place)
>mountains ahead
>fresh rain soon to fall
>and green green green all around.

i miss home already.

Monkey Bread 36

As I count down the days I get excited and sad all at the same time. In fact, I get more sad. I hate it. Day 36: Today was a long day with much useless anxiety, all from me. It was busy from sun up to sun down, but just when I needed it most my monkeys pulled through for me. Just at 6:30pm as I was getting ready to leave my house, who should come rolling in but Ikaika and Iolakona with Mommy and Daddy close behind. I think I will miss seeing that and having them visit me as often as they do. I will miss their laughs and their cries. I will miss it all. I love my monkeys! And yes the gift of bread they bring will be missed as well.

Roomie 37

I realized something extremely important today...well tonight. I am going to miss Sarah. She is such a big part of me. When I first moved to Hawaii, Sarah was my roommate. 5 years later we're still roommates. As you will see in the pictures she is a one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen kinda gal. Tonight she sat with me at the computer asking about my activity (for Visiting Teaching) and watched "Love Surreal" (watch it!). We just sat there and laughed and boo-ed and fake-awwwed. Here's to you sis, love you. And don't you dare stop tagging me in your youtube vid posts!

Later

Alooooha!

Guess what?! There are only 38 more days till we say Aloha Oe to beautiful Hawaii i ne. So to document my farewell and not get too down about missing this place, paradise some people call it, I have decided to compile the 38 page album titled: Later.

Each day that I get closer to leaving and going on the IDAHO adventure I will take a picture of something I will miss about this place. It's a sort of therapy I guess.

Anyway here we go day 38 and page 1 of Later.

A gift from my sister for my new Idaho home. I couldn't wait to put it up, naturally, and so I put it up on my door in Hawaii. I'm going to miss barefoot days.
