Ok so today while talking with my Mum she said the word "DOMESTICATED" and I was all like "THE HECK IS THAT". And then I said "HOLD ON MUM MY BREAD IS GOING TO BURN, I'M BAKING BREAD AND ROLLS TODAY". Oh deary me! What have I become. Now to everyone in the blog world and in the parallel universes, baking bread is not a bad thing, neither is croissants or cheese cake or tuna patties. No, not even cleaning the house, doing laundry or organizing the bills. If no one did those things than happiness would only come from pillsbury and not from loving mothers and fathers who make a home for children. Also, DOMESTICATED sounds like something I would call my cat, Noodles, bless his heart. Or even something you'd say about a disease, not a person. So, No, I am not domesticated, rather I have become a very proactive woman of the house. You've heard about the Man of the House but rarely the Woman of the House.
So here it is, The Woman of the House is the woman who makes the bed, does the laundry, make the meals, organize the boxes and then strives to teach others of her household those same responsibilities. She also prays, goes to the temple, invites friends and family into her home and reaches out to those who need her support, help and love.
My list is growing I think:
Woman of Education
Woman of Work
Woman of the House
What next?????

Chop-suey Sunday
So yesterday we were out of food. Well, we had no bread or milk or other meat besides bacon. SOOoooooo. I decided to improvise our dinner using eggs, bacon, carrots and cole-slaw vegetables. I boiled noodles, stir-fried the bacon and scrambled eggs (separately), then I cooked the vegetables with the seasoning from the noodles packet (mixed with water). It was good! Meaning it finished. I cooked rice too just so that it would stretch. Yay! This is one recipe to go in the books for sure!
Try it out!
